Sola graduated from the Department of Computer Science, Olabisi Onabanjo University in 1999/2000, with a second class upper division and as the third best student in the class. He became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2008, passing all his ICAN examinations at first sittings and winning the Princess Adeniran Ogunsanya’s prize in Business Law.

Sola attended the Prestigious Lagos Business School between 2008 & 2009 where he obtained a Master degree in the Executive MBA program. The MBA program further enhanced his managerial and entrepreneurial qualities as well as increasing his appetite to create business ventures.

He attended the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (Stanford SEED) program in Ghana between December 2014 and March 2015, an entrepreneurship development program organised by Stanford University to support emerging businesses in West Africa countries.

Sola is an SME business consultant, majoring in financial management, business structuring, business re-engineering/restructuring and strategy formulation & implementation. He has authored a series of business related articles in various newspapers in Nigeria.

Sola started his professional career in 2002 with NAL Bank Plc and later joined Skye Bank in 2005. His banking career covers various arms of the profession such as eBusiness, Branch and Treasury Operations, Capital Market as well as Information Technology. Sola left Skye Bank in 2008 as Deputy Manager and is currently the Managing Director and co-visioneer of Empirical Logistics Limited

Sola has been instrumental in strategically positioning Empirical Logistics Ltd. on the path of growth and profitability.

Kunle Popoola

Kunle Popoola holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering from the reputable Lagos Business School (LBS) and the University of Ado-Ekiti (UNAD) respectively.

He has cognate experience in operations management, operations strategy, product development and project management having worked in various capacities as his career progressed.

Upon obtaining his first degree, he had his NYSC internship with Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited where he worked with the Projects Department made up of a team of engineers responsible for the day to day supervision of oil field engineering projects.

He later joined Oceanic Bank where he worked in various operations capacity which included handling of process automation and improvement, design of operations strategy and electronic banking operations management.

Before he left the bank, he rose to the position of an Assistant Manager and Head of Enterprise Solutions Unit where he was saddled with the responsibility of managing the designing, developing and deploying of electronic solutions and process automation products for the bank’s corporate clients.

Kunle’s entrepreneurial spirit soon blossomed when he ventured out of paid employment to jointly set up Empirical Logistics Limited where his is currently  an Executive Director in charge of operations. Kunle’s operational and engineering backgrounds have played a huge role in transfoming the operations division of Empirical Logistics. 

Emmanuel Adekoya

Emmanuel Adekoya holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc) in Computer Science from University of Agriculture Abeokuta (UNAAB) and Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) respectively.

He is a detail-oriented IT professional with eight years of experience as a software support specialist and systems/network technician. Skilled at operating in a wide range of platforms.

He also worked as Operations Manager for three years developing and maintaining all non-instructional services for  Epayment and Ecommerce companies.

He has successfully develop and manage annual maintenance and operational budgets, administer and improve essential data systems, and maintain efficiency in all day-to-day operations.

After his first degree, he  worked as the System Engineer with Aviation Management System Ltd (AMS) where he helped developed The Flight Information Display System (FIDS). He left AMS to join CoralPay Ltd where grew to become the Operations Manager.

He later joined Cards Technology Ltd a Third Party Processing company for MasterCard International as the Head of Technical Development and Implementation Unit. During his stay at the company he helped to develop and implement various VAS applications.

He is currently the GM Operations at Empirical Logistics Limited.
